Quarantine Day 57: Mystical Mounds for Mind’s Renewal

I visited Serpent Mound in Ohio. I might have slipped in after hours. To honor this scared efigy in private. Ahhh. Just what my swirling mind needed. Remembering the ancient teachings, literally etched into our lands.

I laid down tobacco gifts of honor and gratitude, I immediately started sensing a counter clockwise swirling feeling. Yet I’m in the Northern Hemisphere. Where things spin clockwise.

In energetic teaching this represents energy drilling down into the Earth. Of course. The Serpent is the Ruler of the Underworld in many ancient religions. And slithering rhythmically on the Earth, or climbing a tree, he represents a continual Renewal of Life. Just like the sloughing of the skin process.

Our DNA, which gives life to all beings, is a double helix, snake like pattern.

The Caduceus, or Medical Symbol represents the core of life, with the snakes wrapped around a staff.

The Chakra System, Eastern Medicine’s Energetic Body System (physics), is in a spiraling helix stretching through the body.

The evidence of these patterns left by our Indigenous and Ancient cultures, literally embedded in our Earth, are such an incredible resource of knowledge! 🙏
